Education

Culpeper Literacy Council provides classes for students who wish to learn English or learn about United States Citizenship. CLC also provides free one-on-one tutoring to adults who want to learn to read, or improve their basic math skills.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

English as a Second Language classes are offered Monday through Friday in the morning and evening. Learners are placed in classes with others at their same literacy level.

Citizenship Program

Culpeper Literacy Council’s Citizenship Class is a challenging, fun prep class geared towards adults who are interested in becoming United States citizens.

Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program

Learners are matched with tutors for one-on-one instruction to improve their reading or math skills.

About Us

Originally started in January of 1987, Culpeper Literacy Council was established as non-profit in 1989 and has been a successful resource for adult education for 30 years.

Conversation Class

Conversation Class is open to everyone on Monday and Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Held in the large downstairs classroom, suite 001.

Learn Online

Learn on your home computer or Smart Phone. Just $35 for your individual Rosetta Stone login and password. Come to the Literacy Council Office to register.
